- Protect Customer Information.
- Collect, use and process Customer Information respectfully and lawfully.
Customer information is collected and used by SIA to assist and perform Customer employee benefit services such as:
- Customer benefit enrollment management .
- Customer/Employee Benefit advice.
- Cost Containment strategies.
Customer Information types collected and used by SIA, include Identification Information, Application Information, and Transaction/Experience Information.
- Identification information identifies you individually such as Social Security Number, Name, Address, Birth Date and Marital Status.
- Application Information is information that is provided by you to help determine Employee Benefit product eligibility.
- Transaction/Experience information is information about individual Customers and their employees gathered in the act of doing business.
SIA considers the security of information a top responsibility by:
- Maintaining procedural and physical safeguards.
- Maintaining electronic safeguards.
- Maintaining a Code of Ethics requiring employees to treat Customer Information confidentially. Employees are required to comply with the Code of Ethics or face disciplinary action.
SIA will not disclose Customer Information in any instance unless:
- A Broker Authorization agreement is in place and SIA is acting as a liaison between the insurance company and the customer business.
- A Government Agency or Law Enforcement Agency requires or necessitates.
- As part of a sale, merger or similar change of Stickles Insurance Agency, Inc.
